Who we are

Tucked away in Brisbane's leafy Southern suburbs you'll find our sweet little Eco Hair studio, a calm and relaxing oasis for you and your little people to enjoy.

Established in 2012 by Jade Atia - An expert with 20 years in the hair industry and mother of two, with a burning passion for a healthy lifestyle. 

Having been on her own personal health and wellbeing journey and choosing natural, clean products in every part of her life, Jade felt called to start a holistic salon, using natural and ethical products that care for her clients while creating beautiful hair.

Our Ethos

Healthy hair, healthy body and a healthy planet - it’s all connected. 

While remaining fashion-focused, we are aware of the impact that hair care has on the planet and aim to reduce our carbon footprint. 

With this in mind, we have set out to create the perfect balance between high-performance eco-products and beautiful, healthy hair.

We Are Sustainable

At Olive, we harness Queensland’s beautiful weather in every way possible. Our 30 square meter salon is fitted with large glass doors and locally salvaged windows allowing a breezy airflow and flooding the salon with natural light to minimise artificial lighting and air conditioning.

We use solar power where possible, recycle 95% of our salon waste and choose products that are naturally derived, organic, toxin-free, cruelty-free and vegan.
